We vet manufacturers to ensure their practices align with our standards for sustainability and ethical business—and we work with absolute transparency.

Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) Certified Procurement Policy
Olive+Comet maintains a purchasing policy that requires the paper products we produce—like branded hang tags and product inserts—use only materials that have been certified by the FSC®.
Choosing FSC® certified products ensures that our business supports the responsible management of the world’s forests, further benefiting our company’s mission by reducing our impact on the natural world.
Our sustainable print vendor of choice, greenerprinter, is FSC® certified, a certified B Corp, and uses only soy & vegetable-based inks with 0% VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds).

Post Consumer Recycled (PCR) Packaging & Carbon Reduction Funding
We use plastic-free packaging for shipments and the custom boxes, rigid mailers and packing paper we utilize are made of high percentage PCR content (70%+), and the majority of what we source is 100%.
All shipping operations produce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. However, using tools that include Shopify Planet and Ecologi, in conjunction with vendor arrangements, Olive+Comet purchases carbon credits and funds certified carbon reduction projects that equal or surpass the GHG emissions generated during shipping operations.
