Shipping Policy
The process of shipping generates greenhouse gasses (GHG), which contribute to the effects of climate change. By utilizing Shopify Planet for the items we ship, Olive+Comet helps to fund carbon removal strategies which include nature-based solutions (like reforestation and soil carbon sequestration) and tech-based solutions (including direct air capture and mineralization).
Processing & Shipping
We process orders as quickly as possible—typically within 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays). This timeframe is separate from the carrier shipping estimates shown at checkout. It’s in everyone's best interest to deliver goods as quickly as possible, but as a small business, we may occasionally require additional processing time. You’ll receive an additional notification when your order has shipped, including tracking information.
Redirections & Refunds
Unfortunately, once an order has shipped, we are unable to redirect packages, change shipping speed/carriers, or refund shipping charges.
How Do I Check the Status of My Order?
Once your order has shipped, you’ll receive an email notification from Olive+Comet with a tracking number Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. If you haven’t received your order within 10 business days of receiving the shipping confirmation email, please contact us at support@oliveandcomet.com with your name and order number, and we’ll look into it for you.
Shipping to P.O. Boxes
Some carriers have limitations regarding P.O. Boxes. If you are unable to receive a package at a P.O. box, please use another shipping address, or your item may be returned without delivery.
Shipping Delays
Unfortunately, we are unable to predict the timing and severity of potential shipping delays. If your order has been delayed, please contact support@oliveandcomet.com and we’ll be happy to look into it for you.
Refunds, Returns & Exchanges
If your order was delivered damaged due to shipping, please email us as soon as possible at support@oliveandcomet.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition as it arrived. We’ll do everything we can to make things right.
