Our freight services are purchased through Shopify. Shopify Shipping includes climate-neutral delivery. The carbon emitted per shipment is calculated, and Shopify purchases carbon offsets from Grassroots in equal amounts.
No climate-neutral strategy is perfect, and offsets are sometimes a necessary tool. We continuously evaluate our business model in an effort to lesson its environmental impact. To learn more, visit our Mission & Values page.
Processing & Shipping
We process orders as quickly as possible—generally within 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays). This timeframe is separate from the carrier shipping estimates shown at checkout. It’s in everyone's best interest to deliver goods as quickly as possible, but as a small business, we may occasionally require additional processing time. You’ll receive an additional notification when your order has shipped, including tracking information.
All Olive+Comet orders include climate-neutral shipping (the default selection at checkout). If speedier delivery is desired, additional climate-neutral rates are available at checkout.
Redirections & Refunds
Unfortunately, once an order has shipped, we are unable to redirect packages, change shipping speed/carriers, or refund shipping charges.
How Do I Check the Status of My Order?
Once your order has shipped, you’ll receive an email notification from Olive+Comet with a tracking number Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. If you haven’t received your order within 10 business days of receiving the shipping confirmation email, please contact us at email@example.com with your name and order number, and we’ll look into it for you.
Shipping to P.O. Boxes
Some carriers have limitations regarding P.O. Boxes. If you are unable to receive a package at a P.O. box, please use another shipping address, or your item may be returned without delivery.
Pandemic & Supply Chain Related Shipping Delays
Shipping delays due to the pandemic and related supply-chain issues have been occuring with some degree of regularity. Unfortunately, we are unable to predict the timing and severity of these potential snags. If your order has been delayed, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll be happy to look into it for you.
Refunds, Returns & Exchanges
If your order was delivered damaged due to shipping, please email us as soon as possible at email@example.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition as it arrived. We’ll do everything we can to make things right.
